"The Urn Show" at Force Of Nature in Copenhagen Denmark
Friday the 2nd of October 2009 Force of Nature will be hosting The Urn Show exhibition in Copenhagen, Denmark. 15 danish and international artists and designers will take part in the show. All artists have decorated a traditional blank urn, with what comes to mind for the individual artist.
Artists are: Andrew Schoultz (US), Anika Lori (DK), Bigfoot (US), Eske Kath (DK), French (UK), Henrik Vibskov (DK), Hvass & Hannibal (DK), Jody Barton (UK), Knud Odde (DK), Le Fix - Benny Bee (DK), Martin de Thurah (DK), Soulland - Silas Adler (DK), Typisk Lesbisk (DK), Ufex (DK), Zarah Voigt (DK).
Force of Nature uses the urn as a symbol for recognition of death as a part of life, and a reminder to enjoy and live our life while we have it.
All money from the auction will be donated to Drivkraeften a youth department of the Danish Cancer Treatment, with a focus on activities and contact amongst young people with cancer.
Online auction site Lauritz.com will be handeling the auction. Bids can be

They've been releasing dvd's documenting graffiti for years now,and it was only natural for them to take it to print form....
I'm psyched to have the cover on the first issue,,The story that I am telling here with the drawing on the cover is something I came up with recently,I drew it after watching an episode of "Sanford and Son".I was Inspired to create my own version of "Freddie Sanfoot",here he is out in an evening stroll through the swampy woods looking for objects to collect for his shop,all the while being followed by the local spirits especially his deceased wife that is always haunting him. -
